Course Description
This self-directed, web-based course provides you with knowledge of the CenturyLink™ Digital Data Service (DDS) product. You will learn how DDS works and about the options available.
Digital Data Service or DDS is a digital Private Line Transport (PLT) service that provides a dedicated transmission path between two or more customer locations. DDS, used exclusively for data transmission, can be provided in speeds ranging from 2.4 Kbps to 64 Kbps and is available within CenturyLink QC.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to:
- Describe the basic elements that make up a typical DDS circuit
- Describe the optional features that can be added to the DDS circuit
- Describe the different configurations of DDS
- Describe the different jurisdictions and how they affect DDS
Prerequisites
- Basic Telephony course and/or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of Digital technologies
- Local CenturyLink 101 "Doing Business with CenturyLink"
- Analog Private Line
