Let's look at a few N-1 Call Scenarios that illustrate both Call Routing and Default Query Services.
Scenario 1
- Caller A calls Caller B.
- Caller B cannot be found on Service Provider (SP) 1's switch, so a query is launched to the SP 1's LNP Database (DB) to determine the LRN for Caller B.
- The call is routed to Caller C, SP 2's switch. The LRN returned is Caller C. SP 2 terminates the call to Caller B.
