For the Entrance Facility option, CLECs purchase Entrance Facilities from CenturyLink. Where facilities exist, interconnection may be accomplished through the provision of an Entrance Facility per your Interconnection Agreement (IA). Entrance Facilities may not extend beyond the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center (SWC).

Entrance Facilities are generally offered at a DS1 & DS3 level.

The POI location where the CLEC takes over responsibility from CenturyLink is where CenturyLink will build the Entrance Facility.
