12/19/02 December Systems CMP Meeting Liz Balvin/WorldCom stated that the clarification meeting was held with Qwest. We found during the call that there is a documented process for getting to TAXI. She also finds it disappointing that we came to CMP with this question and were told to submit a CR. The information is very minimal on the web site and that there is no reference to TAXI. She said that WorldCom will be working with Qwest to access TAXI and that they have the correct software. Liz Balvin/WorldCom said that she is requesting that the documentation advising the CLECs that they have access to TAXI be cleaned up I would like this change request to be re-written to clean up and clarify the document to let the CLECs know that they do have access to TAXI. Judy Schultz/Qwest said that it sounds like this CRs needs have been met, so we will close this CR and take an action item to making the information more accessible and clear to the CLECs. Kit Thomte/Qwest asked if we want the action item to reside in Systems or on the Product/Process side. Liz Balvin/WorldCom said that she felt it should reside on the product/process side and would like it added to the CMP document and have it noted where to find the CLEC Resource Guide to OSS interface. 12/10/02 Clarification Meeting Introduction of Attendees Liz Balvin - WorldCom, Annette Fox - WorldCom, Benita Matthews - WorldCom, Karen Burgess - WorldCom, Kerri Waldner - Qwest, Fred Howard, - Qwest, Jami Larson - Qwest, Sue Bowler - Qwest Review Requested (Description of) Change WorldCom is requesting access to Terminal Access for Interexchange Inquires (TAXI) Sue Bowler/Qwest stated that Qwest met with WorldCom in Tulsa and said that Annett Fox/WorldCom could not get access to TAXI and felt that there was something wrong at the customers end preventing them from access to TAXI. Annette Fox/WorldCom said that they could only get so far. Lynn Stecklein/Qwest stated that the CR was requesting access to TAXI. Qwest does provide access to "OnLine Billing/Terminal Access Interexchange Inquiry (TAXI) and referred everyone to www.qwest.com/wholesale/clecs/iabs.html. In addition, the process and other information associated with obtaining a secure ID etc.is located in the CLEC Reseller Resource Guide To OSS Interfaces. Liz Balvin/WorldCom said that maybe she should not have issued a change request but was told to submit a change request in the monthly CMP Systems meeting. WorldCom said that they would review the documents to determine if they need to do something further on their end (I.e. obtaining secure Ids). Fred Howard/Qwest also said he would be willing to assist WorldCom as the IT interface to walk them through the process Confirm Right Personnel Involved Fred Howard/Qwest said that he would work with WorldCom as the IT interface Identify/Confirm CLECs Expectation WorldCom is requesting access to TAXI. CenturyLink Response |
DRAFT Response December 11, 2002 RE: SCR112702-01 Provide CLECs access to Terminal Access for Interexchange inquires (TAXI) Qwest held the clarification call with WorldCom to review SCR112702-02 Provide CLECs access to Terminal Access for interexchange inquires (TAXI) on December 10, 2002. During the call, Qwest advised WorldCom that the CLECs do have access to TAXI. Based on information shared during the clarification call, the participants agreed to the following action items to determine why WorldCom cannot gain access to TAXI. WorldCom will review and walk through the steps to gain access to TAXI outlined on the following websites www.qwest.com.wholesale/clecs/iabs.html and the CLEC/RESELLER Resource Guide to OSS Interfaces located on the Wholesale Resources Website. Qwest will validate any existing secure Ids that may exist for WorldCom. Fred Howard/Qwest will work with WorldCom on any technical issues and will provide IT expertise when or is needed. At the December Monthly Systems CMP Meeting, CMP participants will be given the opportunity to comment on this Change Request and provide additional clarifications. Qwest is working diligently to address and to provide the most accurate information to WorldCom in order to close this change request. Sincerely, Qwest
