Originator Company Name: Eschelon |
Owner: Winston, Connie |
Director: |
CR PM: Esquibel-Reed, Peggy |
Description Of Change |
Currently when you attempt to select an appointment for UBL with CHC, if the appointment you require is not available, IMA selects the next available appointment. Once that appointment is populated, the CLEC is required to open an escalation ticket with the CSIE and have the appointment removed so OVERRIDE can be entered when the date and time needed is not available. This cause additional time and steps for the CLEC and Qwest particularly since the appointments available are only on the hour.
Expected Deliverable: Qwest will make changes to allow a CLEC to view the available times for any given day. If the date and time is not available the CLEC have the ability to either select OVERRIDE as an option or back out of the scheduler without selecting anything so the LSR can be populated with OVERRIDE.

September 19, 2003 IMA 14.0 High-Level Walk-thru Meeting Minutes Excerpt: Functionality Description: Qwest will make changes to allow a CLEC to view the available times for any given day. If the date and time is not available the CLEC have the ability to either select OVERRIDE as an option or back out of the scheduler without selecting anything so the LSR can be populated with OVERRIDE. Products: Unbundled Loop and Unbundled Loop with NP Forms Impacted: Pre-Order Appointment Response Fields Impacted: New ‘Return Appointment’ button in Conformation Tab on the Appointment screen ACTs: N/A Questions & Answers: There were no questions submitted for this CR. Connie Winston - Qwest asked if there were any questions or comments. There were no comments, questions, or clarification requested.
March 20, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion Regarding IMA 14.0 Prioritization: Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that this is already available in EDI so the CR is for IMA GUI. Bonnie stated that this is also important to Qwest because Eschelon overrides everything. Connie Winston/Qwest stated yes, we would prefer you not use override as your workaround and stated that Qwest supports this CR. December 19, 2002 Systems cMP Meeting Discussion: Kit Thomte/Qwest reviewed the prioritization process as defined in the CMP document. She noted that December 30th, 2002 is the due date for submitted votes. Judy Schultz/Qwest noted that the due date would be included in the instructions in the notification that goes out with the ballot. Kit Thomte/Qwest reviewed the sample prioritization form. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon reviewed the request. She noted that this is the one that we’d talked to Qwest about earlier and until it is implemented we will mark to override Appointment scheduler every time. Liz Balvin/WorldCom said that this is only GUI. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon said that she believed so. Wendy Green/Qwest said that in the GUI the integration greys out the field. In EDI, there is no integration by Qwest, so the EDI customer can go in and type 'override' and in the GUI, they can’t. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that having said that is there a change in LOE. Connie Winston/Qwest said that she doesn’t believe so because the complex part of this is in the GUI and asked how passionate are you around this. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon said that they are passionate about this. We are hoping to convert to EDI, but I think it’s not a nice to have, for any CLEC that uses the GUI to submit unbundled loop and coordinated hot cuts would be a high priority. Stephanie Prull/McLeod said that she agrees. November 21, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon reviewed the CR Description. The Level of Efforth for this request is 1475 - 2450 hours and is eligible for the 13.0 vote. Clarification Call - October 7, 2002 Attendees Introduced - Bonnie Johnson, Kim Isaacs from Eschelon. Peggy Esquibel-Reed, John Gallegos, Berkley Loggie, Joan Pfeffer, Russ Urevig from Qwest Reviewed CR: Currently when you attempt to select an appointment for UBL with CHC, if the appointment you require is not available, IMA selects the next available appointment. Confirmed Impacted Interface - IMA EDI & GUI Confirmed Impacted Product(s) - Unbundled Loop Discussion - Joan Pfeffer/Qwest asked that when an appointment is scheduled and the appointment is not available, what does Eschelon do? Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that it just gives the next available date & time; you can't back out to OVERRIDE. One is forced to take an appointment, then has to open a ticket to delete it. Joan Pfeffer/Qwest stated that this functionality is currently available in EDI and will be available for GUI with the 12.0 Release. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon asked for a description of the functionality that will be available with 12.0 Joan Pfeffer/Qwest advised that if have a due date change, a supp is to be issued and the original appointment gets canceled. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that the due date supp is different than this CR request. This request is for an original LSR, not a supp or due date change. John Gallegos/Qwest stated that Qwest will investigate request regarding an original LSR and will respond accordingly. Russ Urevig/Qwest advised that there are no concerns or questions, from Process. There were no additional comments or questions.
