Description Of Change |
Allow CLECs to query the service order dispatch "estimated start time" through the IMA Post Order Status functionality. This eliminates the need to contact the Centers to obtain updated dispatch information on the due date. It will allow for current information regarding the "estimated start time" of a service order to be available to the CLEC at the time of their query. This time is a very dynamic and subject to change throughout the day.
Expected Deliverable: May 14, 2007

Project Meetings |
June 20, 2007 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that these were implemented with the IMA 21.0 Release on May 21st and asked if there was any objection to closure. Mark stated that he is not hearing any objection so the CRS will be closed. Bonnie Johnson-Eschelon then asked Kim Isaacs if she was aware of any 21.0 issues or if there were any open tickets. Kim Isaacs-Eschelon stated that she was not aware of any issues. Carol McKenzie-Qwest stated that there were no problems with the Release. Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that there are no 21.0 tickets. Bonnie Johnson-Eschelon said okay, she was just checking. Denise Martinez-Qwest asked to remind everyone that in the last release the “Estimated Start Time of Service Orders” was implemented and noted that there has not been a lot of activity. Denise stated that this candidate should relieve a lot of wasted time and just wants to remind everyone that this functionality is out there to be used. Bonnie Johnson-Eschelon stated that it would be a good idea to let the CSIE know so that if someone calls they can look this up themselves. Denise Martinez-Qwest stated that they have already done that. Denise then stated that the use of this functionality is fairly low right now because this is new and she just wanted to remind everyone to use it.
May 16, 2007 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that these are all IMA 21.0 CRs and stated that the Release will be on May 21st. Mark then stated that Qwest will ask for closure of these CRs in the June CMP Meeting.
March 21, 2007 Combined Overview and IMA XML Disclosure Documentation Walkthrough for IMA XML Release 21.0 Attendees List: Anders Ingemarson-Qwest, Art Elser-Qwest, Carol McKenzie-Qwest, Chuck Anderson-Qwest, Cimberlie Chambers-Qwest, Dawn Beck-Qwest, Denise Martinez-Qwest, Gary Berroa-Qwest, Jeff Sonnier-Sprint, Jo Lloyd-Qwest, Joyce Bilow-McLeodUSA, Joyce Hui-Qwest, Judy DeRosier-Qwest, Kim Isaacs-Eschelon, Lee Gomez-Qwest, Lynn Stecklein-Qwest, Matt Osielski-Qwest, Peggy Esquibel Reed-Qwest (List may be incomplete) Carol McKenzie began the meeting by taking attendance and announcing the purpose of the meeting. Carol explained that the walkthrough would cover the candidates, candidate impacts to the associated documentation, and the IMA XML Disclosure Document. The Meeting Agenda, Candidate Overview document, and a Summary of documentation changes customers can expect to see in the final version of the tech specs that do not appear in the draft are attached to the Wholesale Calendar entry for the IMA XML 21.0 CLEC Walk-through, which is located at http://www.qwest.com/wholesale/calendar under today’s date. Candidate Review: Denise Martinez Functional Overview: This candidate allows CLECs to query the service order dispatch "estimated start time" through the IMA Post Order Status functionality. This candidate is IMA GUI only. The functionality will eliminate the need for calling into the Qwest Center to obtain real time data for dispatches on the due date. Queries can be selected by CCNA/PON or LSR number and providing the state associated to the request on the day that the order is due. The output will contain all related Qwest service orders with repeating sections and will indicate: Qwest service order number, Due Date, Estimated start time, Estimated completion time, Technician status (Work Assigned, Work Started, or Work Not Yet Scheduled), CKL, if appropriate. The output can be viewed, emailed, and/or printed. MULTI-RELEASE INFORMATION: This candidate is not multi-release Form Impacts: None Products: All with the exception of FBDL and the Bulk (GUI Only) Product Activities: Those that result in dispatch (ACT = N, C, T, M) IT Analyst: Chuck Anderson Business Rep.: Denise Martinez Denise Martinez reviewed the information provided in the candidate overview document. Denise explained that this candidate will be available in the GUI only. Denise opened the floor to Questions. Kim Isaacs with Eschelon wanted a better understanding of what the technician status means. Work assigned is work that was scheduled that day. Work Not Scheduled is work that will be scheduled later that day. Kim also wanted to know how often this information will be updated. Denise Martinez explained that the updates are real-time updates. An exact interval for the updates can not be provided. Carol asked if there were any more questions about any of the candidates or this portion of the walkthrough. There were no questions.
- February 21, 2007 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that this attachment contained the 5 candidates that are committed to the IMA & SATE 21.0 Release. Mark asked if there were any questions. There were none.
-- December 14, 2006 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that this attachment includes the Revised 21.0 Prioritization List, as a result of the Late Adder, and also includes Packaging for 21.0. Mark then asked if there were any questions. Jeff Sonnier-Sprint Nextel asked how many, on the revised 21.0 list, were being implemented. Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that the top 5 would be implemented and that the 21.0 Packaging was included in this attachment.
October 18, 2006 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Susan Lorence-Qwest stated that the LOE for this CR is 400 to 670 hours. Susan stated that Qwest would be invoking the Late Adder Process for this candidate and that a notice would be sent. This action item is closed
-- September 20, 2006 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that this CR had been presented last month as a walk-on. Mark stated that Qwest is meeting internally in order to discuss the approach and asked Denise Martinez (Qwest) if she had any additional information to share. Denise Martinez-Qwest stated that Qwest is continuing to work on the request and believes it to be beneficial. Denise then noted that she hoped that all would see the benefit and vote on this candidate. Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that this CR moves to Presented Status.
- August 24, 2006 Clarification: There is no additional information for this Change Request
-- August 16, 2006 Monthly Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: This CR was previously discussed, in Attachment C. Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that this Change Request(SCR071106-01) was presented at the July CMP Meeting and is currently in Pending Withdrawal status. Denise Martinez-Qwest confirmed that Qwest would like to withdraw this CR. Denise stated that this CR was addressing the functionality of a real-time view of when work was to be completed. Denise stated that Qwest performed some additional analysis of what this would entail and determined that it would be extremely cumbersome to both Qwest and the CLEC Community; so Qwest looked for a better solution. Denise stated that the better solution is a new CR, SCR081506-01. Denise then presented that CR and noted that currently, the contacts average out to be about 20-minutes per call, for Qwest and CLEC personnel. Steph Prull-Eschelon asked if the new CR was for Status Updates or for SOSI. Denise Martinez-Qwest stated that it is for the Service Order Inquiry functionality and noted that it is a better way to go and that it will give clear, concise, real-time information. Laurie Fredricksen-Integra asked if the time would be based on the technicians load. Denise Martinez-Qwest said yes and noted that it could change as the day progresses. Denise stated that the time could move up or be pushed out. Denise recommended that the CLECs check that time periodically. Laurie Fredricksen-Integra asked if the information was loaded the night before the appointment or on the day of the appointment. Denise Martinez-Qwest stated that it would be loaded the night before and stated that the timeframes could change. Denise stated that the CLECs would want to start checking at 6:00 a.m. and then check throughout the day. Steph Prull-Eschelon asked if the time would be changed if the technician had to leave or if the order was jeop’d. Denise Martinez-Qwest stated that this functionality would only speak to the start time. Denise then stated that Qwest is looking at additional functionality that could be beneficial, in the future. Kim Isaacs-Eschelon asked if the back-end system being queried was WFA. Denise Martinez-Qwest said yes. Mark Coyne-Qwest stated that Qwest would be invoking the Late Adder Process for this Change Request, for inclusion in the IMA 21.0 Release, and would follow that process. SCR071106-01 moves to Withdrawn Status. SCR081506-01 is in Presented Status. Mark Coyne-Qwest asked if there were any other walk-on items for discussion. Steph Prull-Eschelon asked for the LOE for the Late Adder. Peggy Esquibel Reed-Qwest stated that the LOE is being determined and noted that it would be provided for the Late Adder ranking exercise.
