Description Of Change |
When a CLEC sends an LSR with detail, such as feature changes, the CLEC receives a FOC with order number and due date, but no detail regarding what was ordered. If the CLEC received complete service order detail, the CLEC could identify discrepancies between the FOC and the LSR. For example, a clerical error could have occurred that changes the information ordered. Because such detail is not on the FOC, these issues are not discovered until the time of cut. Therefore, the problem becomes a customer affecting issue when it could have been avoided altogether. Previously, McLeod made a similar request in CR#5466535. That CR, however, does not appear on the last CICMP log. If that CR remains active, Eschelon does not object to consolidating this CR with that one.

CLEC-Qwest FOC S&E Section meeting 2:00p.m. 3:00p.m. Friday, September 28, 2001 Conference Call INTRODUCTION The call was conducted in order to clarify the CLECs requirements for the S&E Section on the FOC that Qwest provides to the CLECs ATTACHMENTS Attachment A List of Attendees MEETING MINUTES The meeting began with introductions of the attendees. Mark Routh-Qwest welcomed the attendees and stated the meeting was intended to confirm the CLECs requirements for the information to be returned on the S&E section of the Firm Order Completion (FOC). Barbara Campbell Qwest asked if everyone had a copy of the documentation that was distributed for the meeting. Barbara Campbell Qwest read through the Eschelon Change Request. Then she reviewed the sample FOC that was sent to the CLECs Barbara Campbell Qwest asked if the sample met the CLECs requirements. The CLECs all agreed that it did. Barbara Campbell Qwest asked if the CLECs would agree to receiving the FOCs outside of the normal response time due to more information being created. The CLECs said yes. The CLECs asked if certain information would be on the FOC. Barbara Campbell Qwest said that the S & E section on the FOC would be the same information that they would be getting on their completions notices. The CLECs asked if they would get another FOC if the information changed. Barbara Campbell Qwest said that the FOC process was not changing, just the addition of the S & E section to the FOC, so if they were getting FOCs now when data changed, they would continue to receive them. She asked if this change would be for all products. The CLECs said yes. The CLECs asked when this would be implemented. John Gallegos - Qwest indicated that it could not be done prior release 10.0 (pending the CLEC prioritization of this CR) RESULTS OF THE DISCUSSION The CLECs agreed to having the same information on the FOC as they are currently getting on completions notifications. The CLECs agreed to a possible longer response time for the FOC since more data would be provided. The CLECs agreed that it would be for all products.
