Currently when a CLEC submits an LSR in IMA and the APTCON field is populated from then AS, and the CLEC needs to supp the order with a DD change, the CLEC is able to secure a new appointmnet is AS, however, cannot populate that information in IMA. The CLEC is required to open an escalation ticket with Qwest and have the first appointment "deleted" from the LSR. The CLEC can then update the APTCON field with the new data. When the CLEC needs to open an escalation ticket it hinders productivity and causes an extra step in the process. This is especially burdomsome since the requirement of AS with the Loop with LNP process on coordinated cuts in the 9.0 release for IMA.
Expected Deliverable: Qwest will update IMA to allow a CLEC to sup an order with a DD change when an appointment is required using the new date secured from the AS without calling Qwest to delete the original appointment.

April 17, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: John Gallegos/Qwest stated that this item was included in the IMA 12.0 Release. John noted that the post deployment call was held and that there is no open issue regarding this CR. No comments. CR changed to 'completed' status. July 18, 2002 CMP Meeting Discussion: Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon reviewed this change request. Eschelon is requesting that IMA be updated to allow Appointment Scheduler change on due date Supp without escalation to delete original appointment. Jeff Thompson/Qwest stated that first appointment would automatically be cancelled and asked Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon if she was okay with that. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon said yes. Michael Buck/Qwest stated that Qwest understands the request and has provided an LOE in the CR response. This request is eligible for the 12.0 vote. Liz Balvin/WorldCom asked how Retail does this. Jeff Thompson/Qwest said that Wholesale is so good, we do it for you. Retail has to do it themselves. June 26, 2002 CLEC Meeting Notes - (from Kimberly Powers): Request is to be able to change scheduled appointments when due date changes are necessary. It was stated that currently the CLEC has to call the service center to have their existing appointment cancelled and then they can use IMA to create a new appointment. - IMA would need to add new functionality in the pre-order GUI. Possible paths: 1) the ability to cancel an existing appointment in a separate step from the appointment scheduling capability (i.e. CLEC cancels existing then requests new appointment using current functionality). 2) the ability to cancel and reschedule an appointment in one step (i.e. CLEC requests to reschedule and the old is automatically cancelled when the new is reserved). - The developer worksheets do have a worksheet for EDI for cancels that allow CLECs to cancel appointments and TNs that have been reserved. If a new appointment or TN is needed they need to use the regular pre-order appointment and TN functionality. Similar functionality may not be in the GUI.

DRAFT Response July 9, 2002 RE: SCR062702-07 Update IMA to allow AS (appointment scheduler) change on DD Supp without escalation to delete original appointment. Qwest has reviewed the information submitted as part of Change Request (SCR062702-07). Based upon the scope of this CR as agreed to in the Clarification Meeting (held June 26, 2002) Qwest is able to provide an estimated Level of Effort (LOE) of 2575 to 4300 hours for this IMA Change Request. At the next Monthly Systems CMP Meeting, CMP participants will be given the opportunity to comment on this Change Request and provide additional clarifications. Any clarifications and/or modifications identified at that time will be incorporated into Qwest's further evaluation of this Change Request.
