Archived System CR SCR061802-02 Detail

Currently on UNE-P BillMate files the rate elements of Local End Office Usage and Shared Transport Usage are combined. Also depending on the region, the files may or maynot show rates per minute and/or total charges (minutes x rate). In order to validate our bills and determine if Qwest is billing correctly, Eschelon requests Qwest to show the total minutes, rate per minute and total charges (rate x minutes) separately for both the Local End Office Usage and the Shared Transport Usage on the BillMate files.

Expected Deliverable:

BillMate files will have separate items and columns for UNE-P Local end office usage and Shared Transport usage and will also show total number of minutes, rate per minute and total charges (rate x minutes).

April 17, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Lynn Notarianni/Qwest stated that there was an Event Notification sent on this and noted that it was fixed in a patch on March 31st. Lynn asked if Eschelon has had a chance to validate. Kathy Stichter/Eschelon asked for this CR to remain open for another month.

April 4, 2003 Email sent to Eschelon: Kathy -- I received information that the problem in regard to 6192953 was resolved on March 31, 2003. Please let me know if there continues to be an issue. Peggy Esquibel-Reed CRPM -- Systems

April 2, 2003 Peggy Esquibel-Reed (Qwest) advised Kathy Stichter (Eschelon) that is checking on status of her issues and will advise of info soon.

April 2, 2003 Email from Kathy Stichter: Peggy, I received this event notification. It sounds like the issue that I reported to you on Friday 3/28/03. The notification says that the trouble was discovered internally, no reporting CLECs. Is this a result of my email to you? Do you know when the patch is scheduled? Thanks

March 28, 2003 Email received from Eschelon: Peggy, I just checked our UNE-P bills to verify that the CR was worked and I found a problem in Oregon and Washington. Although the usage is separated, the Shared Transport Usage does not show a quantity. It only shows the rate and the total amount. Would you have someone check on this for me?

March 20, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon noted that Kathy Stichter (Eschelon) is on vacation and will address in the April CMP Systems meeting

February 20, 2003 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Connie Winston/Qwest stated that Eschelon has not yet had the opportunity to validate, so this CR will remain open and look to close in March. Kathy Stichter/Eschelon stated that the bill dates are not until the end of the month, so Eschelon would like the CR to remain open another month.

December 19, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Connie Winston/Qwest said that this is scheduled for the CRIS point release on Feb 3, 2003. The action item can be closed.

September 19, 2002 Systems CMP Meeting Discussion: Jeff Thompson/Qwest stated that this is a significant piece of work and Qwest is determining the target date. There are multiple sub-systems that need to be coordinated. That coordination is under way. Qwest can do the work, it's just when can get all the systems coordinated.

July 18, 2002 CMP Meeting Discussion: Kathy Stichter/Eschelon reviewed this change request. Eschelon is requesting that Qwest include columns for minutes, rates per minute and total charges on UNE-P BillMate files. Michael Buck/Qwest asked if there were any other comments from anyone. There were no comments. Michael Buck/Qwest noted that the LOE is provided in the CR and stated that the status of this CR is 'Evaluation' to determine when this work could be scheduled. Carla Pardee/AT&T said that AT&T supports this change request.

Clarification Meeting - June 27, 2002 Attendees: Kathy Stichter/Eschelon, Bill Markert/Eschelon, Peggy Esquibel-Reed/Qwest, Carl Sear/Qwest, Doug Warren/Qwest CR description reviewed. Bill Markert stated that needs to have usage separated. Eschelon's request is for Qwest to provide MOU's, Rate with associated USOC if applicable, and charges. Need for Shared Transport and for Local End Office Usage. Need for Billmate only. Needs Billmate to reflect what the paper bills reflect for the elements. Kathy Stichter/Eschelon agreed to issue revised CR.

RE: SCR061802-02 (Separate Local End Office Usage and Shared Transport Usage on UNE-P BillMate files)

Qwest has reviewed the information submitted as part of Change Request SCR061802-02. Based upon the scope of this CR as agreed to in the Clarification Meeting (held June 27, 2002) Qwest is able to provide an estimated Level of Effort (LOE) of 5700 to 6300 hours for this Wholesale Billing Interface Change Request.

At the next Monthly Systems CMP Meeting, CMP participants will be given the opportunity to comment on this Change Request and provide additional clarifications. Any clarifications and/or modifications identified at that time will be incorporated into Qwest’s further evaluation of this Change Request. Upon obtaining consensus from CMP participants as to the appropriate direction for Qwest to take on this Change Request, Qwest will review release schedules and development timetables in an effort to evaluate options for potential scheduling of Change Request SCR061802-02.
