Description Of Change
Remove the reference to floppy diskette as a media option available for bill/CSR detail provided by IABS since customers have migrated from floppy disk to the Web option for bill receipt. The PCAT - IABS Billing Information Integrated Access Billing Systems V16 - will be updated to remove floppy diskette as an available media option. Additionally, Section 2.12 –IABS Bill Outputs – in the Customer Questionnaire for Facility-Based CLECs will be updated to remove the media options 3.5 Floppy Diskette Image (Paper Format) and 3.5 Floppy Diskette (CABS BOS Record Format). No customer is receiving their IABS bill media via floppy diskette currently.

Susan Lorence-Qwest said that this CR is in CLEC Test and went into production on 8/11/08. She asked if there was any objection to the closure of this CR.

There was no objection.

Mark Coyne-Qwest said that the targeted implementation date for this CR is 9/1/08.

Jami Larson-Qwest said that we will be removing the reference to floppy diskette as a media option available for bill/CSR detail provided by IABS. She said this is because customers have migrated from floppy disk to the Web option for bill receipt and that it is outdated technology. Jami said that there are no customer’s receiving their IABS bill media via floppy diskette currently.
