Client Self Test provides Wholesale customers with the ability to perform testing on their DS1 circuits. This solution is available to all current registered CEMR users. Client Self Test is only available where test equipment is located. Currently users receive an error if test equipment is not available. Qwest will be adding an edit and error message to the CEMR application to remind customers that Client Self Test is to only be used for DS1 circuits. Information will also be added to the CEMR Online Help text associated with new edit/error message.

(7/28/11 Updates received from Integra in CAPS) IT WAS effective 6/20 and CENTURYLINK would like to move it from CLEC test to completed. No objections. 6/15/11 Systems CMP Meeting SCR050311-1 CEMR - Voice mail PIN code resets SCR050411-2 Enhance Client Self Test capability – Add edits(s) to confirm use is specific to DS1 circuits Mark Coyne – Qwest said both CRs are scheduled to be effective on June 20, 2011 and that we would revisit them in July for closure. 5/18/11 Systems CMP Meeting Denise Martinez – Qwest presented this new CR. Denise said Qwest recently implemented the Client Self Test functionality in April and that the functionality is only available where the test equipment is located. Customers are currently receiving an error and that Qwest will be adding an edit and error message to confirm the use of Client Self Test is specific to DS1 circuits and the On-Line Help will be updated. Bonnie Johnson - Integra asked if customers were using it for other things. Denise Martinez – Qwest said yes and that Qwest was not equipped to handle it for other than DS1 circuits. Bonnie Johnson - Integra asked whether Qwest would make such an enhancement. Denise Martinez – Qwest said (6/1/11 Updates received from Integra in CAPS) THEY WOULD LOOK AT IT, BUT there was nothing planned in the near future. Denise asked if there were any other questions and there were none.
