Description Of Change
Implementing the use of two CABS BOS phrase codes that will reflect adjustments made to a customer’s account for contracted service. The codes are:

M63 – Credit for Contract Agreement

M64 – Adjustment of Credit for Contract Agreement

The industry forum for this Industry Guideline CR is the Technical Review Group (TRG).

2/8/13 UPDATE: There are no system software updates associated with this CR. The addition of the new phrase codes are associated with a table update only.

7/17/13 System Monthly Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed this CR is in CLEC Test effective as of June 15, 2013. Mark asked if we could move this CR to a Completed status. There were no objections.

6/19/13 System Monthly Meeting Mark Coyne – CenturyLink relayed this CR is now in CLEC Test. A thirty day system courtesy notice was sent on May 16, 2013 that relayed the new adjustment phrase codes may begin to appear as of June 15, 2013.

5/15/13 System Monthly Meeting Susan Lorence – CenturyLink said a 30 day system notice will be sent on May 16, 2013 that identifies that the Adjustment Phrase codes may begin to appear on bills as of June 15, 2013. Susan asked if there were any questions. There were none.

2/20/13 System Monthly Meeting Jami Larson – CenturyLink presented the new Industry Guideline CR. Jami said these phrase codes are specific to a contract agreement and may be seen on bills with the IABS Release 49.01 that has a planned effective date of June 15, 2013. Jami said these are existing standard codes and we are now making them available.

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink confirmed the plan to send a 30 day system notice to relay they would be available June 15, 2013.

Kim Isaacs – Integra asked why this CR was an Industry Guideline CR

Mark Coyne – CenturyLink said because the codes are CAB BOS standard codes.

Kim Isaacs – Integra asked how long the codes have been available.

Jami Larson – CenturyLink said she thought the codes have been available for awhile but did not have the exact date. She said that information is available in the BOS documentation but she would look up that information so it could be provided in the meeting minutes.

NOTE: The codes M63 and M64 were established for use on February 1, 2008 as part of CABS BOS Volume 1A (SR-1869).
