Qwest Proposal for Managing Incorrect Fax Numbers Entered in the IMA Personal Profile Notification of an invalid fax number comes from two sources; 1. Qwest Security Department/Customer Complaint 2. Qwest Fax Server Administration Team When a notification is received Qwest will use the following process: Qwest will remove the invalid fax number from the user profile. After the fax number has been removed an email will be sent to the Service Manager with the user name and the invalid fax number. The Service Manager will contact the impacted CLEC with this information. Removing the invalid fax number from the IMA personal profile will have no impact to the CLEC user requesting the fax. With an invalid fax number the CLEC user isn’t receiving a fax. The Service Manager notification will give the CLEC user the opportunity to enter a valid fax number or leave the field blank.
