Description Of Change |
Implement an IMA edit/validation process for all Facility Based Directory Listing (FBDL) orders. Misspelled or invalid community names generate 700+ rejects monthly for the Provider and the Listing Operations Center resulting in follow up and additional FBDL correcting orders. An upfront validation will significantly reduce those rejects/errors, reduce the follow up and additional correcting orders and improve flow through. Copies of valid Community Names will be made available so Providers can easily validate their data.

05/19/10 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – Qwest indicated that this SCR is a carryover from IMA Release 26.0. Qwest would like to close this out as well. Mark indicated we could come back to this CR after we take a look at the production support tickets. Bonnie Johnson – Integra asked if Qwest still had tickets open on these. Mark Coyne – Qwest indicated that there were tickets still open for 26.0 but that he believed they were not directly related to the functionality for this CR. He suggested we come back to this section. NOTE: See May 2010 Systems meeting minutes under Section L Production Support Tickets for full discussion around status of open tickets. 4/21/10 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – Qwest indicated that this SCR went into IMA Release 26.0 last year. Qwest would like to close this CR. Bonnie Johnson – Integra asked if all the tickets were closed on this SCR. Mark Coyne – Qwest indicated that the tickets were targeted to be fixed or are fixed. Susan Lorence – Qwest relayed that based on the TBD report, there might be some paperwork left to close this out or there is a manual solution available. She relayed that Qwest can leave the event notice open versus the CR. Bonnie Johnson – Integra indicated if the functionality is not working, she questions the appropriateness of closing this SCR. Susan Lorence – Qwest said the SCR would remain open one more month while we investigate. 03/17/10 Systems CMP Meeting Susan Lorence - Qwest relayed that Qwest had kept two IMA Release 26 CRs, SCR010709-1, IMA FBDL Community Name Validation, and SCR010709-3, IMA LSTR Enhancement, open since implementation in October 2009 and was proposing closure. Mindy Chapman – Neustar questioned whether CLECs were going to R26 during the upcoming weekend. Mindy questioned whether any CLECs had yet tested and signed off that the CRs full functionality was working and they had been certified it. Carrie Bousfield -Qwest relayed no customer had yet used the full functionality but one customer was going this weekend that would use it. Carrie was pretty sure the full functionality had been tested. Mindy Chapman – Neustar requested the two SCRs remain open until customers have had a chance to use it. Susan Lorence-Qwest said the CRs would remain open and will revisit in April. 02/17/10 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – Qwest relayed that the two CRs associated with the IMA 26.0 release, SCR010709-1 IMA FBDL Community Name Validation and SCR010709-3 IMA LSTR Enhancement, would be left in CLEC Test another month while we continue to work on the remaining open Trouble Tickets. 01/20/10 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – Qwest also relayed that the two CRs associated with the IMA release, SCR010709-1 IMA FBDL Community Name Validation and SCR010709-3 IMA LSTR Enhancement, would also be left in CLEC Test due to remaining Trouble Tickets that are open. 12/16/09 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne – Qwest relayed that the two CRs associated with the IMA release, SCR010709-1 IMA FBDL Community Name Validation and SCR010709-3 IMA LSTR Enhancement, would also be left in CLEC Test. 11/18/09 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne-Qwest said this CR deployed on 10/19/09 and asked if there was any objection to closure. Kim Isaacs-Integra said there are open tickets for this CR and would like to have the CR remain open. 10/21/09 Systems CMP meeting Mark Coyne-Qwest said this CR deployed on 10/19/09 and would remain open another month. 3/18/09 Systems CMP Meeting Mark Coyne-Qwest said that this attachment is the IMA 26.0 Prioritization List based on the results of the ranking that was conducted the 1st part of March. Mark said that the total capacity for the IMA 26.0 release is 6500 hours. He said that the LOEs for all 4 candidates is 6497 hours and all will be included in the release. 1/21/09 Systems CMP Meeting Lee Gomez-Qwest said that this CR has been submitted to implement an IMA edit/validation process for all Facility Based Directory Listing (FBDL) orders. She said that misspelled or invalid community names generate 700+ rejects monthly for the Provider and the Listing Operations Center resulting in follow up and additional FBDL correcting orders. Lee said that an upfront validation will significantly reduce those rejects/errors, reduce the follow up and additional correcting orders and improve flow through. She said that copies of valid Community Names will be made available so Providers can easily validate their data. Jeff Sonnier-Sprint asked if this edit was available for XML and not just the GUI.
