The issue for Z-Tel relates to TN Reservation: The Business Rules at Section 9. Telephone Number (TN) Reservation Transaction Cycle, Section 9.1 Business Description state that TNs are automatically selected and held for 24 business hours and that after a TN Reserve pre-order transaction, a CLEC must send an order to Qwest within 24 hours of selection or TNs selected will be returned to Qwest. We are requesting that the 24 business hours be extended to 30 days to avoid duplicate or multiple entry of TN request over weekends, during holidays, during peak periods or to cover other delays in ordering. All other ILECs permit TN Reservation, at minimum, for 30 days for UNE-P customers.
