Description Of Change
CLEC asks Qwest to eliminate Qwest’s requirement that CLECs place complete the location and department fields in IMA-GUI (release 6.0). Orders are rejected when the LOCN or DEPT fields do not match Qwest records or if the fields are not completed. The only way to obtain the information for the fields is to pull a FULL Customer Service Record (CSR). This is extremely time consuming and inefficient. Only a certain amount of data downloads at one time, and then CLECs must sift through unneeded information to find the LOCN and DEPT information. Qwest has not provided a valid reason for requiring this information, and Eschelon is unaware of any benefit of requiring it. Because it is unneeded, Qwest should eliminate the requirement altogether.
