Priority Call - V6.0

History Log

Product Description

Priority Call allows an end-user to establish a list of important telephone numbers on a Priority Call List. The Priority Call List can contain up to 15 telephone numbers all of which must be within a Signaling System 7 (SS7) network to be recognized. When an incoming call is received from a telephone number that appears on the Priority Call List, the end-user will receive a distinctive ring (short, long, short).

Incoming calls from telephone numbers on the Priority Call List that encounter a Busy or Don't Answer condition will be treated like any other incoming call; however, Distinctive Ring is not forwarded to the remote location.

The following recorded instructions will be heard when using Priority Call. Instructions may vary slightly depending on switch type. For rotary dialing substitute 11 for * and 12 for #.

To turn on and make changes, dial (*61) (1161 for rotary) then follow the recorded instructions.

"Your Priority Call is now on. There are (x) entries on your list. You may dial during the announcement for faster service. You may dial now or wait for instructions." (BEEP)
