SIOUX FALLS, S.D., April 25, 2007 – CenturyLink employees today recognized the second-year anniversary of the opening of the customer loyalty center in Sioux Falls.

The opening of the center in 2005 was part of Qwest's Spirit of Service initiative to effectively meet customer demand in the competitive market and provide a consistently high-quality customer service experience. The center, where employees focus on delivering complete and personalized service to CenturyLink customers, handles calls from CenturyLink customers throughout the company's 14-state local service region.

"It has been a great addition to have so many new employees in our building; the energy and effort they invest to make the Spirit of Service come alive for our customers is remarkable to watch,” said Larry Toll, CenturyLink president for South Dakota. “Congratulations to all the center employees on their second anniversary."

The center’s 320 employees, who have answered an astounding 3,000,000 calls since the opening two years ago, will celebrate the anniversary by enjoying a catered luncheon together.

“I’m very proud of the loyal Sioux Falls center employees,” said Dan Mandolfo, CenturyLink Sioux Falls center director. “Their commitment to CenturyLink customers and the community is inspiring.”

Sioux Falls was selected as a location for the call center not only because of the outstanding facility, but also because of the people. The Sioux Falls area has a substantial workforce with considerable experience in the telecommunications industry.
