CenturyLink Adds Idaho Call Center Jobs

CenturyLink announced in February that it was adding 100 new jobs to its customer care center in Idaho Falls, bringing the total number of jobs at that site to 575. In addition to the Idaho Falls center, CenturyLink has call centers in Pocatello and Boise and an additional technical support center for high-speed Internet customers in Boise.

“We are pleased that CenturyLink has once again chosen Idaho Falls to expand their workforce,” said Idaho Falls Mayor Jared Fuhriman in a news release. “The overall economic impact of 575 jobs in our community is tremendous. We recognize these jobs could be located anywhere in the world and appreciate the partnership we enjoy with Qwest.” Fuhriman said.

The company has continued to expand its Idaho Falls call center because of success attracting qualified employees, a relatively low attrition rate and the performance of the center.
